M2a-Magnum™ Metal-on-Metal Hip ReplacementAdditionally, the M2a-Magnum™ metal-on-metal hip articulation is designed to more closely replicate the size of a patient's natural anatomy. With much larger head sizes than other metal-on-metal implants, ceramic-on-ceramic implants, or traditional metal on polyethylene joints, the Magnum™ system is designed to provide greater stability and range of motion than other systems. There are many factors your surgeon uses when recommending metal-on-metal hip implants. Only your orthopedic surgeon can determine if you are a candidate for this system or if another type of implant would better address your unique situation. Please contact my office or click here to make an appointment.
