I am 65 years old and have osteoarthritis. I had bad constant pain in my right knee for a number of years restricting my normal daily activities. I contacted Dr. Likover to discuss knee replacement. He said I did not need total knee replacement and recommended the patellofemoral joint replacement procedure. I have been very, very pleased with the results. My procedure took place November 29, 2006 and I was able to travel to Chicago for the Christmas holidays. After 3 months I am pain free and able to chase after my 2 year old and 4 year old grandsons.
